We have a tremendous opportunity here: Dedicated people, working together, respecting and supporting each other. We have a real path to lifting whole generations out of poverty, and helping them reach for new goals for themselves and their children.

My role is to create the step-by-step reality that allows us make real progress, to build an organization that can accomplish our vision in concrete increments. It is a pleasure to do it with these people, and with the people we have come to know throughout the country.

I think of myself as an organizer who went to business school to learn some tools, and to apply those tools for the betterment of our communities. I have been fortunate to be able to do that here, in previous work opportunities, and in my home community.

I have a strong background in organizing, financial management, strategic thinking, and political analysis. I've created nonprofit organizations to meet visions in affordable housing, health care, and economic revitalization and development.

My goal is to paint a picture of the future, and work with others to make it happen. I’ve worked in economic development, community development finance, employee ownership, and community organizing, and have served as an elected and appointed official.

At our core, Solutions is a partner to community based organizations, governments, nonprofits, foundations, and faith-based organizations. We work with our partners to help them be more effective in reaching their organizational goals, and to build sustainable roads out of poverty.
